Media pundit Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after stumbling upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first leading television role. Just started watching it and it’s possibly a 6-8. I just wanted to come on here and point out how odd these reviews are. Either 10s or 5 and under. You get the feeling people either love it or hate it, there’s nothing in between. Personally I think it’s solid so far but not overwhelming. Some aspects are really engaging while others are a bit predictable or boring at times. The acting is decent and the pacing is fine, though it could use more depth in some areas. Overall I wouldn’t give it a perfect 10 but it definitely deserves more nuance than what I’ve seen in these reviews. It’s a watchable show with potential that could get better with time. Hopefully a better balance will be achieved with time.
