Narrative
Follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the transgressions of long-respected institutions.. The exceptionally talented Russian Blue cat at the Ravenscroft's house improvised all its action and dialog.
It could easily have been reduced to a banal two-hour film
In multiple episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium length telephoto. Such a lens would be incapable of focusing on close-in subjects such as selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine..
I approached the series thinking of a thriller, with which it has very little to do, we are faced with a drama
Sex scenes, I would say, definitely too explicit and strong for a TV series, sometimes even less is enough to understand what is happening. I am not a bigot, on the contrary 😉, but I believe that on the visual side sex should always be treated more lightly, we all know how it works 😂.
I still think that a film would have been more appropriate
The story is well told, the characters well developed and the acting absolutely exceptional, I also like the off-screen speech, it gives a "poetic" and "introspective" touch to the characters directly involved.
