Narrative
Follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then helmed the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop writing the script. .
The artwork and character design are beautiful
Appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Comic: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). However, something about this show just doesn’t seem memorable to me. For me, it’s because of its pacing issues. I don’t care for mindless violence or sex.
It doesn’t bother me
I think this show could have been a little better. I’m a big James Gunn fan. I’m still going to finish the show and I’ll definitely see Superman when it arrives this summer. I’m just not impressed with this show.
Alan Tudyk is fantastic
I will say that the voice acting on this show is beautiful and top notch. Frank Grillo Jr is amazing. Everyone who plays roles on this show is fantastic. 5/10 stars…
