Narrative
A father and son who work as security guards for an armored truck company encounter a gang of robbers on a bridge. They are trapped and have to come up with a plan to escape and ensure their survival. The only other time Sly has played an antagonist was in Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over in 2003.

If something goes wrong—whether it’s an accident, an attack, or an unexpected stop—GPS data helps emergency responders understand the situation and get to the vehicle quickly. I thought the armor was well-cast, but that’s about all I can say about it. There were holes in the ground big enough for an armored truck to drive through.
It also arrives at perfect timing
Unstable plastic explosives wouldn’t be my first choice for a heist. Flying bullets, exploding grenades, low-speed bumper-tag chasing vehicles on conveniently deserted roads, but no one notices. A shootout on a bridge that’s presented as a clock, but no cars pass by until it’s conveniently needed.
Stallone spoke often, but little
The houses are close to the so-called “action,” easily within earshot, but no one calls about the explosions or the shooting. There’s more traffic on the roads through the Nevada desert. I suppose that’s to be expected at this stage of his career.
Not bad, but not great either
The whole movie held my disbelief and was very disappointing. There was no sense of realism whatsoever. Watch it if you have nothing else to fill your time with; just don’t expect much from the experience.
